As part of a joint initiative across Tameside we were extremely proud to see 6 of our Under 11 team take to the field as part of the Barbarians team. Voted for by coaches across Ashton, Aldwinians, Glossop, and Marple RUFC its testament to the hard work they have put in and the development everyone is seeing in these young people. They travelled to take part in the game against a representative team from North Wales and it was a fabulous day all round! We are looking forward to seeing more of this kind of game as we progress into the new age grade season.
