On Friday 13th March we welcomed Andrew Mehrtens, former New Zealand All Blacks player with our amazing host David Broadbent to Dukinfield RUFC. A packed out room created an electric atmosphere from start to finish with shared tales of his time on the pitch to being part of that amazing New Zealand line up.
Andrew even managed to get the room together to perform an ever so slightly questionable version of the infamous Haka! Thanks to everyone who supported this event, especially Sizzlers Catering, one of our long time sponsors who provided an excellent carvery with all the trimmings for our guests.
